Cocoa Brownies with Roasted Almonds and Sea Salt |

Add the cold eggs one at a time and beat until the batter is smooth and shiny. Add the vanilla. Fold in the flour and spread in a square pan. Sprinkle with chopped roasted almonds and flaked sea salt.

Ingredients:
10 Tbs unsalted butter
1 1/4 cups sugar
3/4 cup plus 2 Tbs unsweetened Dutch processed cocoa powder
1/4 heaping tsp flaked sea salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs, cold
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2/3 cup roasted almonds, chopped
1 tsp flaked sea salt to sprinkle on top
Instructions:
- In a double boiler, melt butter with cocoa, sugar, and 1/4 tsp sea salt
- Remove from heat and cool for 5 minutes
- Add vanilla
- Beat in eggs, one at a time until batter is shiny
- Fold in flour
- Spread in a non-stick 8 X8 pan
- Sprinkle almonds on top
- Sprinkle flaked sea salt over everything
- Bake at 350 for 20 minutes
These look amazing! I will most definitely have to make them. Next time I'm at the store, I know I'll be adding those ingredients to my basket!
